HEY FAM AND FRIENDS! Our team is here in Malaysia!!!! And we are so excited! We wanted to do an official little team intro, so that you could know each of us, our backgrounds a bit more, and if you're willing, pray for each of us by name while we're here!

Hey guys! I’m Wes. I’m a husband, father, and aspiring filmmaker/storyteller. I’ve been in the production space for about 4 years now and have a huge heart for sharing the stories of modern missionaries around the world. My family and I dream of using documentary films to connect the church body around the world and honor the stories of what the Lord is doing through missionaries today. Last year my wife and I got the chance to connect with Breathe Life Ministry while traveling through SE Asia for other documentary work, and we’re absolutely thrilled to have been blessed with the opportunity to tell a bit of their story now through our upcoming film, “Breathe Life”. The Lord has allowed us to be a part of an incredible team to film this project and we’re so stoked to have you guys along.

HEYO it's Moriah! I'm Wesley's wife, tiny Mally girl's momma, and the blog writer! I absolutely love stories and am honored and humbled that our family gets the privilege of using our lives for telling Kingdom stories. I'm so excited and passionate about this documentary, "Breathe Life", and the story that it tells, as it is a story that is really meaningful to me. We're so excited to see what God does, and we're so excited you're following along!!

Hey! I'm Malia Rae and I'm a baby. I flew across the world on an airplane with my mommy and daddy and I've eaten some curry here in Malaysia. I love to sleep and play and sing and drink milk.

Hey Everyone! My name is Josh and four years ago the Lord radically burdened my heart for the nations. Within this burden came an invitation to parter wit Him to tell visual stories of His divine character and power through out the ends of the earth. 

Through this process I’ve taken the avenue of film making because it so clearly gives me an opportunity to do this very thing. 

The last three years I’ve had the honor of filming two documentaries--one in Ecuador, one in Africa, and now Malaysia. Can’t wait to see the fruit of what God is going to do through this new film!

My name is Johnny. When I was 14 years old I was gifted my first camera and started on my Storytelling/Filmmaking journey. In 2022, Joshua Bachtel, Wesley Cannon, and I travelled to Quite, Ecuador to film a documentary on sex trafficking. It was there that my heart sparked to create stories/art that has true purpose behind it that points to Jesus. I have since joined a ministry called Circuit Riders based in Huntington Beach California to further this dream. 

Earlier this year, Wesley invited me to come alongside him and his family to film the Breathe Life Documentary. My heart was immediately gripped for the story of the Rohingya people and the Breathe Life Ministry.

My name is Mau Vazquez.

I was born and raised in Mexico City. I have always been fascinated by the power film has to make people feel. I graduated from Asbury University with a degree in film production in 2022. During my time as a student, the Lord put the desire in me to tell the hidden stories of missionaries around the world. As the body of Christ I believe it is crucial for us to be connected, to better work together, and to better pray for one another. My desire is to bring the stories of these godly faithful people to the church in Mexico and the US.

Hi, my name is Kimry (Wesley’s sister, Mau’s wife)! I’m so excited to be a part of the team and helping with administrative/logistical details for the trip. It really is an honor to follow my husband into this calling of telling Kingdom stories around the world. It is incredibly humbling to be led by God to participate in a small way in His grand tapestry He is weaving all around the world. He is working, moving, and it is an honor to witness and come alongside what He is already doing.
